Managing and Mentoring
This site is an extension of The Creative Management Project, a collaborative effort of the Canadian Conference of the Arts, the Cultural Human Resources Council, the Canada Council for the Arts and Canadian Heritage from 2002 to 2005. The objectives of this project were to foster professional renewal and reinvigoration of experienced cultural managers, and to attract new people into the field of cultural management and administration.
Professional development has been identified as important to cultural managers and administrators at all levels in their careers. For this reason CHRC continues to find ways to improve the skills of cultural managers and mentors.
